Developed by the NHS Race and Health Observatory, the Health Action Resource Platform (HARP) allows users to explore NHS performance data broken down by ethnicity across regions, systems, or providers. It aims to illustrate racial inequalities in health through data visualisation in an attempt to drive action in both policy and practice.

Who We Are
The NHS Race & Health Observatory are an independent expert body, established by the NHS to examine the health inequalities experienced by Black and minority ethnic communities in England.
We work as a proactive investigator by actioning evidence and insight, providing evidence-based health policy recommendations, and facilitating long-term transformational change across health and care.
Reflecting the Observatory’s key priorities, the Health Action Resource Platform (HARP) currently focuses on data across the 10 domains listed below. While data is available across all 10 domains, at the moment there are only case studies for Maternal and Neonatal health. As the collection of ethnicity data improves, we aim to add more metrics and domains onto the site.
